Come and enjoy the famous Knappogue Medieval Banquet at Knappogue Castle, Quin Co Clare.
Banqueting season at Knappogue Castle takes place from April to October. Enjoy a five course medieval themed meal in historical surroundings.

At the castle door you will be met by the ladies of the castle and the butler, and get your first taste of medieval delights with a goblet of mead (an alcoholic drink of fermented honey and water). Other culinary delights to follow include salmon salad, tomato soup, chicken and rastin (lemon cheesecake). A vegetarian option is also available.

Entertainment is provided in the form of music, song and dance from the resident cast. A bit of involvement is also expected from the audience, as four men are chosen at the start of the evening as the four High Kings of Ireland!

You will be captivated from the moment you arrive when you get your first taste of honey rich mead. Here the ladies of the Castle welcome guests with a program of music, song and dance, taking you on a musical journey from medieval times to the present day.This colourful and vivid show will enthral and delight you from the moment you arrive with an entire evening of good food and wines

Your medieval experience begins at 6.30p.m. Please note, pre-booking is essential.
